Using Currency CFDs for hedging and speculation
Asset prices have risen significantly across the world, from Asia to Australia, against an unfounded pace of economic recovery. When the dollar rises and carry traders bail out of their assets, we will likely experience another sharp global sell-off in all assets, which will send asset pricing and exchange rates tumbling in value, making Dubai's asset bubble burst seem modest in comparison. Monetary authorities are treading a fine line. Low US low interest rates are fuelling speculation, while raising interest rates in emerging markets will attract even more carry trades. This dilemma will definitely continue gathering momentum into 2010 as the world economy finds its way on its risky path to recovery.

Global markets rebounded from the second quarter of 2009. Many economies recovered in its wake. Will the good times continue? Will 2010 see more good news or are we now at the edge of a cliff?
Hear from economist Dr Tan Kee Wee who will tell you what the obstacles facing us are and what you could do with your money.
